I received a Wacom Intuos tablet and Painter X around last May for my birthday. I haven’t yet spent much time on it and thought it was time to give a real whack at it. I’m a complete newbie to digital painting and need lots of help. I know it looks real cartoony & fake, I obviously have a lot to learn, but I'm pretty happy to have done this much.

My original base drawing includes a woman in the foreground, which I haven't completed yet. Anyhow, I’m excited as this is my first pseudo complete digital painting and I thought I should upload it.

You did an awesome job on the mountains in the back and the clouds. :3 Those are the most difficult things for me.
It looks like you've got the concept down pat. Keep it up and you'll do even more realistic renditions in no time at all.
